Hi! I'm Mrs. Taylor.

I am so excited you found my website! My hope is that your family finds the support your child needs, hope for your child's future academic journey and that your child might have even greater confidence in themselves. A little bit about me... I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Human Development & Family Sciences: Early Childhood Education. I also have a teaching certification for Early Childhood Education, certifying me to teach Pre-K through 3rd grade. I moved to the DFW area after graduation and worked at an elementary school in several roles including teaching (Kindergarten & 2nd grade) and supporting students in our resource room. I also helped with our tutoring groups! I moved back to Oklahoma in 2020. After that, I started online teaching & working at Brain Balance. In my spare time, you'd find me exploring new restaurants with my husband, sipping coffee & reading a new book, or traveling to visit family! I would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with you and discuss what your family is looking for and how I can help!

Why I'm a Tutor

If you are wondering why I have decided to become a tutor, I have a long answer that I will summarize in just a moment and a short answer- which is… I care. I care a lot. I care that this generation has the tools & knowledge to really become who they were born to be. I accredit anything I’ve ever accomplished to my parents, family, and teachers who gave me the foundation I feel so fortunate to have had. And I’m here to be a small part of that for this generation of kiddos. Education is more than letters & numbers and how to write them & use them. It’s the foundation of life. It’s where the future doctors solve their very first problems. It’s where future authors first learn what sound each letter makes. It’s where future politicians first learn how communities work together. My goal is for my students to master early learning concepts and continue to thrive through their academic journey.  My hope is that they would have even more confidence to believe in themselves and the tools to go after their ambitions and dreams.
